Vitcas^® Heat Resistant Sealant is a ready mixed high temperature sealing and caulking paste for use in fixing and jointing as well as for fire protection will withstand up to 1300^oC. For sealing or fixing ceramics, glass, metal and other silica based materials. It has good adhesion and gap filing properties to seal or joint these materials.

Uses:

Vitcas Heat Resistant Sealant offers a versatile range of applications, making it suitable for both industrial and domestic settings. Some common uses include:

Sealing or fixing metal: The sealant’s heat-resistant properties are particularly suitable for metal-to-metal applications, as it can endure the high temperatures often encountered in these environments. The sealant remains effective despite the thermal expansion and contraction metal components typically undergo when exposed to heat.
Bonding glass:This sealant is also ideal for glass-to-glass applications, thanks to its ability to resist high temperatures. It can accommodate the thermal expansion and contraction that glass materials experience under heat, ensuring a durable bond between glass components.
Pottery ceramic repairs: Vitcas Heat Resistant Sealant can be used for repairing pottery ceramics. If a ceramic piece develops cracks or chips, the sealant can be applied to the damaged areas before refiring the pottery. Delivery

Delivery Information.

For Next day deliveries, all orders need to be received and processed before 12 noon. A tracking number will be issued once all paperwork and packaging is complete. During the busier periods delivery times may be effected.

Any orders received after 12 noon, will then be dispatched the following working day.

Small, light and medium parcels will be delivered either by Evri or FedEx. Pallet shipments will be delivered via Response Logistic

Small and Light Between 0-4 Kgs a carriage charge between £3.60 and £9.00 Inc Vat will be added.

Medium Parcels over 4 Kgs up to 12Kgs will be charged at £15.00 Inc Vat

Heavy Parcels Between 12Kgs – 25Kgs will be charged at £24.00 Inc Vat

Orders Under £600 Inc Vat a charge of £66 Inc Vat will be added.

Orders Over £600 Inc Vat is FOC

If ordering just 1 stove, a carriage charge of £66 Inc Vat will be added

If ordering 2 or more stoves, carriage charge will be FOC

Installation Guides

Application:

Ensure that the area you want to apply the sealant is clean and free from dirt, dust, rust, and grease.
Cut off the top of the cartridge and screw on the nozzle. Cut the nozzle to the required size.
Apply the sealant using a cartridge gun, aiming for a thin joint of 2 – 3mm.
The material will set at room temperature, but the setting time will be reduced by applying heat, gradually increasing over a four-hour period.
Once dry, the sealant can be sanded and over-painted.
